Colt: More Than a Pretty Face Cabriolet

With a face of freshness, confidence and attractiveness, the youthful look of Mitsubishi Colt is more than just a pretty face.

A perfect blending of fun with function and substance with style., the Mitsubishi Colt Cabriolet CZC is not just all a demanding 21st century audience wants in a compact car: As its beautiful exterior shape suggests, it's much more than that.

Who says he is not attractive? One would find it comparable to the the heart stopper look of Brad Pitt or Johny Depp. Styled by Italian designer behind the face of cars like Ferrari Enzo, it is undeniable why the tempting look gets more than a second glance. The other Colt models are a little bit hard on the eye, but the new cabriolet is better and more seducing.

Looking off beat with its look, it still stands out to be a cute. Despite the resemblance of the rear end of the car to lancer, the front look is still Colt.

The interior is a little bit disappointing. For a car who comes from Italy, excitement is expected. The element of excitement and intrigue is lacking, making it lesser to rave about. This does not mean the hatch has a zero degree of excitement. The car has it all, from sports pedal to nice gear stick, the four wheel feels comfortable and well built. Similar with the seats in 207 CC, no change can be noticed. However, the folding roof is made of metal. The pride of bragging to the world how the convertible colt is an international effort is soon. This spices it all making the car oozing combined with the idea that it is Pininfarina made, and the whole thing put together by Pininfarina in Italy.

For one thing the car is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 110kW and 210Nm of torque - not bad for a car that weighs just 1200kg. It falls only 3kW short of the Ralliart Colt (but weighs an extra 70kg) and it uses just 7.2 liters per 100km. This makes it not totally bad. The Colt is worth the 40k price and the most driving fun one can have, tuned with turbocharged 1,5 liter engine paired with a sooth five-speed manual gearbox, with a McPherson strut with a white suspension. T he roof kept in the boot, storage space is still sufficient for the weekly shopping and the occasional trip to the beach, leave the roof on and you get more than enough space.

Although the roof has identical to operation with 207CC. The safety net is positioned in the boot to keep shopping and the roof separate. A slight difference can be evident between French, and the Italian /Japanese. The Colt physically locks or release the roof before pressing the button adding five seconds to the process. Although it can do absolutely 99% of the work, it makes one think why it can do the rest making it 100%.

Summing up? The final verdict is, don't hesitate if you got the money, get the car... at the price it won' t be too disappointing . Though think, given the huge discounting taking place already, resale value is sure to be an issue. Try looking at cars classifieds or cars for sale, there might be some good jackpot waiting.

2008 Mitsubishi Pajero

The 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero offers a 3 door version for both petrol and diesel engine and a 5 door version for both petrol and diesel engine as well. A consumer may also choose between a R auto version and a X auto for the 3 door version of the car and choose between GLX manual/auto, VRX manual/auto or Exceed auto for the 5 door version of the SUV.

The 3 door petrol carries with it a 3.8L V6 SOHC 24-valve MIVEC engine that can give the power of 182kW at 5,500 RPM with a torque of 329Nm at 2750 RPM and the diesel has a 3.2 L CDI DOHC 16 valve intercooled turbo diesel delivering a power of 125kW at 3,800 RPM with a torque of 373Nm at 200 RPM. The 5 door petrol carries a 3.8L V6 SOHC 24-valve MIVEC engine that delivers 175kW of power at 5,500RPM/184kW with a torque of 328Nm at 2750 RPM while the diesel version has a 3.2 L CDI DOHC 16 valve intercooled turbo diesel that is capable of 118kW of power at 3,800RPM with a torque of 381Nm at 2000 RPM.

Both versions would definitely be flexible for having a power assisted rack and pinion that gives a turning circle (in meters) of 10.6 for the 3 door version and 11.4 for the 5 door version.
