A Redefined Cruiser of Value: Toyota Camry 2008

By: Team OzFreeOnline

The four wheel redefined cruiser has a long standing reputation of smart design and a pleasing function. It has in its name the build quality and durability. Ranking as third out of the thirty three most affordable mid size cars, its bold design and accommodating passenger seats says it all. The “crown prince of mainstream” rules the streets, with is albeit ward of Motor trend of the Year.

Not getting a perfect score in performance, the car scores good but not to top hit the top-tier of those highly competitive cars. Although it is a road performer, the sporty performance is lucking. Still it rules with its polishes and defined performance compared to other family four door cars.

The four wheel drive offers a 2.4 liter in line with a 158 horsepower and 161 pound feet torque, and a 3.5 liter V6 with 268 horsepower and 248 pound feet of torque. The base engine is adjudge to be sufficient but the V6 creates a thrilling effect.

What makes it more enticing to cruise is the the quiet-on-road persona. This creates a strong suit that makes riding soft and smooth.

With the 2008 version getting a makeover from last years model, it is both tempting and inviting as compared to other cars of its class. Lucking in aggressive look, the car stands distinct with its safety features including a full array of airbags. Equipped with anti locked brakes, brake assist and break distribution, the systems of the “prince” are in paced for monitoring tire pressure and vehicle stability.

The hybrid prince offers the same spacious space similar with its previous models. With a dual zone temperature control, MP3 playback, cargo space that is adequate and quick start system... it makes a difference,

First introduced in the 2007 model, he flashy new styling starts at the Camry's nose. It is a bold element of a new look with its fresh front end, sharp points, curving cut-lines and entertaining surface planes.

However, the side view is less appealing and bulky looking, with symmetrical windows, a high belt line, and square doors, graced with a barely perceptible character line running through flush-mounted door handles.

With the Camry SE, it comes with a more sportier look, perhaps the boldest of all.. The inference of aero treatment on the trunk lid is boosted on the SE with an honest spoiler. While a full body kit flares the lower edge of the car outward, emphasizing the sport model's lower ride height, a black honeycomb-style grille sneers forward from smoked-tint headlamps.

The prince is perfectly nice. It works like a regular Camry but the hybrid quality that consumes and pollutes less stands out. Shifting to a hybrid without hassles.. the prince is a god choice. Let the prince of mainstream get cruising!
